on Tuesday. Sounds like a fairly inexperienced volunteer, coming in from out of state, and wants a read on the area and how to tone the campaign message as they hit doors in the area and so on. I'm in southwest Ohio (Boehner's district) and wanted to see what any other Kossacks in the area might want brought up, if you don't also have meetings with him or similar reps. I know Wulsin has some strong supporters hanging around here. (And, BTW, he said they were going to have some sort of garden party in the backyard of one of Boehner's neighbor's, which is quite amusing.)
Obviously I'll be talking to him about the layoffs and plant closings in the area, along with the AK strike, as my guess is they'll need to hit the economy and job creation hard here to get any kind of numbers in this deep red area.
The Middle East combat zones will also be brought up, as the region has had it's share of casualties, but beyond the occupation and related military operations and the economy, I don't know what else might play well down here, since most folks I talk to pay no attention to SCotUS decisions or bills winding through Congress.
The floor is open for suggestions, especially if you're in SW Ohio, northern Kentucky or SE Indiana.
(Oh, and I'll push downticket support for Wulsin and von Stein, obviously.)
